Guardian Angel: America

The first in a series of pictures I'm planning on doing. 
The idea is fairly simple. As a country, America has gone through a lot, but Alfred is still human, thus we can create two sides. America: The Guardian Angel and Alfred: the human being.
I was originally just going to do those two on a basic backdrop, but then I had an idea to expand it and created the background you see, a battlefield. It felt more fitting... (plus I wanted to practice painting so...) 
It was fun to do, though challenging. 
Oh, and for the wings? I was trying to reference the bald eagle, not sure if it worked though. Wings are so hard to do... -_-"
